Merry Christmas

Things have been busy here with the usual Christmas preparations and journeys, but I thought I’d post a few images of how the Sony Center in Berlin is twinkling for the holidays this year.

The structure of the Sony Center always reminds me of something out of Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner…

…or perhaps Fritz Lang’s Metropolis? Speaking of films, we went to the movies last night as a little pre-Christmas treat. This is completely non- Christmas related, but I have always loved the red carpet in the Cinestar movie theater at Potsdamer Platz. It has the script of a famous movie printed on it; perhaps the über film buffs among you can tell which one based on only a couple of glimpses:

Have a joyous Christmas, everyone.
