Lamps

Situation: We need new bedside table lamps. It seems vintage lamps are hard to find, especially in pairs. What is it that people do, have knock-down, drag-out fights involving ONE lamp base? Yes? It’s making things difficult on the vintage front. One of my favourite lamps ever is Artemide’s Eclisse (pictured above), which has been in production since the 60s and was designed by Vico Magistretti. The only problem is that it would take up quite a bit of room on our Componibili bedside tables. Plan B: “Birdie Nam Nam”, designed by German designers Benjamin Hopf and Constantin Wortmann for Büro für Form in Munich. The shade is made of porcelain and can be turned 360 degrees. I have ordered a pair and will update as soon as they arrive! Happy weekend, everyone!
